This course is all about the human body. We will be exploring general characteristics shared by our species, and you will be exploring personal characteristics, building a deeper understanding of capabilities.
Describe
When most people describe the human body, many of the descriptions are negative or focused on a limited range of characteristics. In this course you will be learning new ways to consider and describe the amazing complexity of our bodies.
Explain
Much of our lifetimes revolve around health and disease. This course will explain the biology behind recommended behaviors and set a framework for seeking and critiquing explanations well beyond this course.

We realize people are busy working, assisting family and their communities. So each week you can work on lectures, labs, and assignments at the time that works best for you.
