Favorite Things

This song My Favorite Things sung by Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music keeps going through my mind:

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens;

Bright copper kettles and warm, wooly mittens;

Brown paper packages tied up with strings;

These are a few of my favorite things.

Uschi-swirl, our double cancer-surviving marble Bengal cat, always finds happiness in brown paper packages.  He gets to keep the paper and we hide the strings.
