Best Ever

Mark and I are seeing remote teaching as an incredible opportunity for a number of reasons.  The first one is kind of obvious teaching Human Biology in a COVID-19 time; this is an opportunity to explore the science behind the disease.  Being remote, we can change content quickly to try to keep pace with new science discoveries.  Most of our covid coverage will be at the end of the term while we are studying infectious diseases.

This is also a chance to explore new teaching settings, the website and our home as classrooms.  We’re interested in experiencing new interactions in new ways.

And we are all a bit more aware and learning is taking on a more serious dimension.  In the back of our minds we know there are still front line workers buying the rest of us some normalcy to do our business.  The least we can do is to step up and try making this course the best ever.
