Data Visualization
We are inundated with data from so many sources, it can be possible to overlook the information our own body is sending us. Keeping a journal or log of body function can re-focus attention on health parameters and provide a baseline for later comparison. Consider the things you may want to monitor now and information you may want to have in the future.

Behind-the-Scenes
These are called “junk journals” because they are often constructed from old book covers and scrap papers, but they can be quite intricate. An interesting journal may motivate data collection and production of more elaborate data visualizations.
A key technique to “fix” breaks in the skin barrier is suturing or “stitching” the skin back together to speed healing. Suture kits are available for people who want to improve this skill.
This year we are experiencing high pollen counts here in the Willamette Valley, and people with allergies may have increased inflammation, blocked sinuses, pressure, and pain. This model shows why the face hurts, the sinuses cover a large area.
