Specimens, Models, Trinkets, & Toys

That’s the title of a book I’ve been working on; a look at the importance of objects in learning science.  That is on the back-burner for now, but luckily all of the objects we’ve accumulated are perfect for teaching online.  Video demos pop with great objects.

We have a LOT of stuff: personal collections of antique microscope slides, a huge library of natural history books, science artwork, many educational toys & games, etc.  And we also have the BI 10x collection to draw from: mostly anatomical models & posters.

Now it’s a matter of finding & organizing everything into boxes and getting them to the next photoshoot location.
