Vascular Disorders
Contrast hypertension with hypotension, and describe the risk factors and impacts of hypertension; describe the two different types of strokes; and explain what atherosclerosis is, why it is a problems, and why statin drugs are used.
Cardiac Disorders
Describe what a myocardial infarction is, what can occur in coronary arteries, and possible treatments; explain what occurs with a heart murmur and congestive heart failure; describe what an EKG is as well as changes in electrical impulses associated with various arrhythmias.
